Leaving Mendocino

My friends, I will be here at Linholme until the day after my birthday on December 15, at which point I will be heading for Austin, Texas. So yesterday I took a jaunt around the place in an ATV. The light on the hillside in the photo drew my attention, and I found that with the distance compression of a longer lens a nice composition was possible. I also made a pilgrimage to a place in the woods I call the old car cemetery and will be sharing the results of that soon. I'm hoping to see everyone I intended to see during the rest of my cross-country travels, but must admit to having become a little tired, which may affect my plans. I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season and not being oppressed by it.
