Mr. Christian's Old Carriage

It is a mystery to me why Mr. Christian came home to Prospect and took the old family carriage out of its shed and parked it in the yard to be subjected to the elements night and day until the paint peeled and the stuffing came out of the seats. But until it falls apart completely, I will stop and take its picture when I go to get the mail, so there is some remembrance of a fine old horse-drawn rig.
