Absolutely Safe Harbour

Blackbirds calling out the morning
for taking them out of the night
yet again

Cold rain on crusty snow
daring still drowsy rush hour commuters
to miss even one little thing

Mere awareness with no expiration date
allowing rest always at any moment of our lives
beyond the anxiety of conceptual thought

Such blessing always waiting
not a bad idea
though
