When There's Ice on the Lifeline

When it's very hard to hold on
help someone else
When it's very hard to see clearly
help someone else
When it's very hard to stay calm
help someone else

Your grip and your view will improve
and your peacefulness spread like a stream

though you had no idea
that the source could be you
and thought slipping into darkness
was the only thing left to do
