My Home Is At Sea

No matter where in the city or country I be
my home is always out to sea

It may not be far, it may not be near
It may not be anywhere familiar

but the roar of the surf is always in my ear
even as the slightest whisper

a canoe or two in reach of those who want to visit
and a little voice proclaiming, "Not too shabby, is it?"
