Bustah Moove and the Stillness

"Naw, man. Bustah Moove is all right by itself. That's how people know me. And anyway, if I did name the band, Stillness would not be the name. The stillness, man, it's the stillness makes me, I don't know. I love the ocean and the fresh air and the boatin' and all that, but the stillness bothers me."

"Man, you Bustah Moove! Ain't nothin' bothers you!"

"It's heavy, man. It's everywhere, too. The people's got it. That old church has it. They's somethin' in the rocks like ghosts sittin' around watchin' for anything moving so they can slow it down. Man, it might get to me. What if it gets into me, man, and I can't bust a move. I love it and I hate it at the same time, man. We doin' all right in the city. Why don't we just stay there?"

"Tell me it ain't the money, dawg. 'Cause you can afford to buy this whole damn village."

"Naw, it ain't that."

"Well, what is it? You been talkin' 'bout movin' here since you was in that movie here."

"Yeah, that was different. Ain't no movie now."

"Well, think about it. I'm thinkin' we could do somethin' really different here. Seaside rappin'. Man, I could sell that. I know I could."

Bustah turned the boat around and shot out of the harbour so fast that Betty Kelly was moved to put down the binoculars she imagined she was holding and sigh and exclaim to the window she was looking through, "Well, I never. I was sure that fancy man was thinking he would buy this place. Like to give me a heart attack. Here's prayin' he don't come back. I couldn't stand another heart attack. Ain't one enough? Ain't dyin' once enough?"
