Welcome to the Granite Coast and the photography, written works and recordings of Jim Lindsey.

The Granite Coast is a state of mind as well as a place. As a place, it lies between Chebucto Head and Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. As a state of mind, it is where illusions are caught on a lee shore and wrecked, where the long winters wear out pretension, where sacred world reveals itself for all to see.

The Granite Coast is hard and yet, as soft as soft can be.
