Downtown Delight

I don't get into the city much these days. Except for groceries, the village has pretty much everything I need. And so my photos and stories are mainly concerned with the ocean. But bank business took me into downtown Halifax yesterday. And I was visually delighted even as I was strategically disappointed at the bank, which was unable to restore my online banking password and insisted it "must" be done by phone. This is me looking up as I walked downhill from Duke to Hollis. I remember doing this in Peru 50 years ago - looking up as I walked, that is - and stepping into a pothole in the sidewalk and fracturing my ankle. So I was luckier today, and in a city with more consistent sidewalks. Glory be!
